Тема курсовой работы: THE REPRODUCTION OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN RAY BRADBURY’S NOVEL DANDELION WINE IN THE UKRAINIAN TRANSLATION BY VOLODYMYR MYTROFANOV

В работе проанализированы фразеологизмы в романе Рэя Брбери "Вино из одуванчиков". Исследованы виды и методы перевода фразеологических единиц.

Phraseology is the science of phraseological units (phraseological units), i.e. about stable combinations of words with complicated semantics that are not formed according to generating structural-semantic models of variable combinations.

The relevance of the work lies in the fact that phraseology is an extremely complex phenomenon, the study of which requires its own research method, as well as the use of data from other sciences: lexicology, grammar, stylistics, phonetics, history of language, history, philosophy, logic and regional studies.

The practical significance of the work can hardly be overestimated. This work reflects trends in linguistics, and we hope that it will serve as a good guide for those who want to master the knowledge of phraseological units of the English language. Also, this work can be used by English teachers to teach English phraseological units.

This work can be well reflected in the following areas:

1. In universities and scientific circles of a linguistic profile, it can be successfully used by teachers and philologists as a modern material for writing scientific papers on English phraseological units.

2. Can be used by teachers of schools, lyceums and colleges, teachers of English as a practical tool in teaching phraseological units of the English language.

3. Can be useful to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of the English language and vocabulary.

The purpose of the work is to explore the concept of phraseologism, its characteristics and definitions, to consider the classification of phraseological units, ways to convey phraseological units, and also to analyze phraseological units in Ray Bradbury\'s novel "Dandelion Wine" in the Ukrainian translation by Volodymyr Mytrofanov.

The object of the study is the phraseological units of the English language.

The subject of the research is the phraseological units in Ray Bradbury\'s novel "Dandelion Wine" in the Ukrainian translation by Volodymyr Mytrofanov.

The research paper consists of the introduction, two chapters, the conclusion, and the list of references.

The introduction focuses on the general description of the topic of the research paper.

The first chapter is divided into three subchapters. In the first subchapter, an explanation is given to the concept of a phraseological unit, its characteristics and definitions are outlined. The second subchapter provides information about classification of phraseological units. The third subchapter explains methods of rendering phraseological units.

The second chapter is divided into two subchapters. The first subchapter provides information about Ray Bradbury\'s novel Dandelion Wine. The second subchapter analyzes the ways of reproduction of phraseological units in Ray Bradbury’s novel Dandelion Wine in the Ukrainian translation by Volodymyr Mytrofanov.

In conclusion, the results of the research paper are summarized.

The list of references mentions the sources that were used in the preparation of the research work. They include linguistic books and articles on the subject and number of used dictionaries.
