Тема дипломной работы: Дубляж с английского на русский, на примере мультфильмов

Предмет исследования: Русский дубляж английских мультфильмов .

Цели и задачи: провести  сопоставительный анализ оригинальных мультфильмов и их дублированных переводов. Для достижения поставленной цели необходимо выполнить следующие задачи:

• Проанализировать особенности и выявить основные сложности  дубляжа.

• Определить языковые особенности в процессе перевода мультфильмов.

• Выявить основные факторы, влияющие на выбор того или иного варианта перевода.

• Проанализировать мультфильмы , выделяя плюсы и минусы в результате перевода.

• Изучить перевод и выявить основные способы передачи текста оригинала на русский язык, без потерь прагматики, стиля и образности.

Теоретическая ценность исследования заключается в систематизации имеющихся знаний о дубляже как виде аудиовизуального перевода и возможности применения результатов работы в профессиональной деятельности переводчиков в процессе  дублирования.

Практическая ценность исследования заключается в анализе процесса создания дубляжа, выявлении трудностей в работе с ним, учете всех языковых особенностей двух языков, между которыми осуществляется перевод.

Many people call our time the Age of Cinema, and it is difficult to disagree with this statement. Every year, hundreds of films, series and cartoons are released worldwide, new genres appear, new and sometimes unimaginably impressive shooting methods are invented.

Today, a significant share of the domestic film and video market is occupied by foreign, primarily Western, products. At the box office, American films dominate, while television actively purchases foreign-made feature series and documentaries, most of which are broadcast in prime time for a wide audience.

Translation scholars have become actively interested in film translation relatively recently. The term film translation usually means the translation of feature and animated films, as well as series.

Film translation or audiovisual translation as a process consists in literary interlingual processing of the content of original materials, followed by rhythmic laying the translated text and an audio track or embedding the translation in the video sequence in the form of subtitles.

There are different traditions of film translation in different countries. For example, in small European countries or in countries where several official languages are used, subtitles are used. On the contrary, in most major European powers, including Russia, the leading position is occupied by dubbed translation or dubbing for short.

The relevance of the research is undeniable, since animated film, as well as the genre of cinema as a whole, is a new art and is determined, on the one hand, by a large number of foreign cartoons and series in the public domain, on the other hand, by the tradition of translating foreign film production, as well as by the low percentage of Russian-speaking viewers who do not speak a foreign language in level sufficient to understand foreign full-length cartoons and animated series in the original. The relevance also includes the relevance and insufficient knowledge of the methods of translation of various kinds of film texts, in particular, cartoons in the field of translation studies, approaches to their translation and adaptation to the speech manipulations of actors and characters, in connection with which there is a need for further research in this area.

The high quality of a dubbed translation usually indicates a high level of cultural development in a society, directly enhances the viewing experience, and undoubtedly has a great influence on the marketing of the film industry. Due to political, sociocultural and economic factors, problems often arise with the duplication of films and cartoons into Russian, so the problem of analyzing the quality of such a translation is worthy of consideration and careful analysis.
